NIGHT OF THE NEW MAGICIANS
A MERLIN MISSION: MAGIC TREE HOUSE #35

Available:
Hardcopy, paperback, Kindle, audio
Jack and Annie are off on another mission
for Merlin. They have to save four new magicians! An evil sorcerer wants to
steal their magical secrets and they have to stop him. After a quick trip to
the magic tree house, Jack and Annie are whisked off to Paris, France in 1889.
Their mission is to find the four magicians of Light, Sound, Invisibility and
Iron. The Paris World's Fair is in full swing. It's crowded with visitors from
all over and the task seems impossible. Plus, there isn't one magic exhibit,
just a lot of science and invention demonstrations. To add to the confusion,
the locals seem to think everything scientific is magical. True to form, Jack
and Annie don't give up.
What is especially nice about the "Merlin Missions: Magic Tree House
Series" is that the mysteries are fused with mystery and history in a
compelling magical style. Although this book employs magic, Annie and Jack seem
like real kids. Their detective skills are age appropriate and believable. Not
only do they solve mysteries, they learn something about life in the process/
