MURDER MYSTERY PARTY: DEATH AT CASINO REVEL

Host Your Own MURDER MYSTERY PARTY

A friend asked me to pen a MURDER MYSTERY PARTY for her daughter's sixteenth birthday. The catch, Selena wanted me to use her favorite T.V. stars as the cast. Having an assigned cast was a little daunting at first as I hadn't been a fan of the shows her and her friends "just love." First I had to familiarize myself with the characters. And then decide why they would end up in the same location at the same time.

It was a fun project and once I figured out what I  was doing it flew onto the page. They held the event this past weekend and had a great time. They spent 2 1/2 hours in character at  the Casino Revel and solved a murder most foul. The teens had fun and their only real criticism was that the cast was almost all male and they were all girls, bar one.
I've been busy rewriting, re-tweaking and  transforming it. Now it has a balanced  male-to-female ratio and the characters aren't T.V. stars. (Wouldn't want a lawsuit.) The end result is that DEATH AT CASINO REVEL should be  available by the beginning of October. It's a teen friendly script and adults could have fun with it, too!
