Ted is not your usual detective. He
doesn't see the world like most kids. His brain processes life in a unique way,
but it doesn't mean he's not smart. He's just different. His aunt and cousin
Salim show up for a visit before leaving for America. While Ted and his sister
wait below, Salim takes a spin on the London Eye, a huge Ferris wheel. They
watch him go up, but when his sealed pod comes down, Salim isn't on it. He's
disappeared. Theories abound. The police are baffled and the family fears he's
dead. Ted and his sister team up and revisit the clues staring them in the face.
This was swell written and a
compelling read. The clues are all there, upfront and at the same time
invisible. Mystery fans of all ages should enjoy this book.
Target audience: grades 6-8
