UNSOLVED MYSTERY #1
STATUE IN FRONT OF CIA HEADQUARTERS
Picture taken at noon.
Jim Sanborn designed a statue that's on display right next to the CIA
headquarters in Langley, Virginia. What's totally cool about this statue is
that it is essentially four encrypted codes cut into a waving sheet of metal.
Depending on where you're standing and the time of day,
affects the appearance of the codes.
Another view
Sanborn created the art piece to
show that every code can be broken. All the code breaker has to do is interpret
the patterns and clues. What's fun is that only three of the codes have been
solved. The fourth still remains a mystery. . . even to the nation's top CIA code
breakers. It's a true unsolved mystery just waiting for its solution.
