IT'S RESOLUTION TIME AGAIN!

IT'S RESOLUTION TIME AGAIN!

Looking over my New Year's Resolutions from last year, it seems I almost met them, which is a big plus in my book. The top of my writing promises to myself was to maintain this blog. All months except for two, I diligently posted 3 times a week. That's 83 % and equals a B- in my book.
Those two mystery months I didn't post consistently, I busy on mystery business known only to me and Dr. Waste A. Lotta Time On Other Stuff.
This year I'm going to shoot for an A+ and not goof off so much. That means you can look forward every week to:
                     One book review.
One mystery fun trivia or fact.
                     One mental game or challenge.

ONE FINAL THOUGHT. . .
HAVE A HAPPY
SLEUTHING NEW YEAR!

BOOK FAIR

BOOK FAIR!

    New Reviews Coming Soon

I am excited! I just came back from a book fair at the local middle school and found a ton of what I hope are great books to read.
I miss the days when I could pop into a local book store and find a newly released book to read. Living in a semi-remote rural area, I have to travel a minimum of 3 hours to find a book store that sells new books. There are several used book stores in our area and a library, but it's not the same. I can also shop on-line or buy a book on Kindle, but there's something about holding a new book in your hands and flipping through the pages. Smelling the ink. Reading a random page here and there. Feeling the texture of a new cover.

FOR MY REGULARS

FOR MY REGULARS

If your one of my regular viewers, you've probably noticed I've been a little spotty on my posts. Can you guess the reason?

A. I've spent most of my writing energy plotting 6 new books.

B. I've been painting in my cave at our museum.

C. I've been on the road, traveling.

D. I can't recommend the recent mysteries I've read. My Mom always said, "If you can't say nothing nice, say nothing at all."

E. I've been trying to launch my latest book CODE ORANGE CANCUN.

F. I got a new computer and am learning its new tricks.... after managing to transfer the important  stuff from my old one.

AND THE ANSWER IS:
